Our rivers cross the town and flow into the beach, they deserve a clean-up too.
We formed a group of volunteers from all over Santa Teresa, and we decided to clean the river that flows down the bridge from the Katana restaurant…

A wide river that discharges its waters in Playa Carmen north, next to the well-known surf spot Banana Beach and Tropico Latino.

There is a lot to do, but we started by cleaning up our yard.
The series of photos reveal the result of a great day. It is very gratifying to walk along a river free of garbage; it’s possible to feel its nature and its importance again.

We hope that this initiative will inspire others.
The results speak for themselves.
